Dave and PrayWorks (as an equity participant and a professional manager) have been involved with the Soaring Eagle Lodge project since the spring of 2004. Dave interfaced with the marketing and sales team, which led to the sale of almost 50 homes in one day in June of 2005 – the largest one-day real residential real estate transaction in West Virginia real estate history. Construction began immediately with the team PrayWorks selected, including GBBN Architects and Branch and Associates.
The project is now opening and by many accords is the finest residential condominium project at Snowshoe Mountain. PrayWorks was also instrumental in creating other amenities at the Soaring Eagle Lodge facility including a new retail facility, three new restaurants and a new high-speed chair lift.
The project was delivered 150 days ahead of schedule, change orders totaled less than $200,000 (on an $18,500,000 project), all furniture for the homes and common spaces was organized, purchased, and installed, and all legal documentation involved with the condominium form of ownership was orchestrated.
